Meet Shahamat
Hi! I am Shahamat Chowdhury founder of Salam Consulting. I have spent the past 6 years of my career building experiences at numerous Fortune 500s like Capital One, BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman to enhance the employee life. After completing my master's in Organizational Development & Knowledge Management from George Mason University, I began my career in coaching. Since starting Salam Consulting in 2024, I have helped over 700 professionals start their own business, find their next role, earn a promotion, or improve their life.

Why Salam?
A vision from the past
Salam has a double meaning for us. The first is the standard 'Salam' meaning "peace" in the Arabic language primarily used in the greetings of 'Asalamualaikum'. Salam Consulting wants to bring peace in the adventures you pursue and ensure you are given all the tools to have a peaceful life.
Our personal meaning of Salam comes from the Grandfather of founder Shahamat Chowdhury, Salam.
Salam was a community builder back in Dhaka, Bangladesh and he would travel across the world learning about various businesses and cultures to integrate in his own community. From building his own business in Bangladesh to being a pivotal member of his community in advancing the careers of many, Salam embodied the concept of unity and wanted to make sure that everyone had an equal opportunity at achieving their dreams.
